Probably the most complete Spring Break day

Today, I woke up at 11, ate cold cereal, played CS for at least an 1 hour, made rice, went to the gym, ate lunch, showered, went to Club Sport to ball with some friends for a couple of hours, relaxed for an hour with CS again, picked up my pay check, got milk and bread for the rest of next week, bought Taco Bell for dinner, and rented "I AM LEGEND" from the nearby Dublin Blockbuster (and of course, watched it), talked to family in India and now am sleeping at 12.
This is what a solid Vacation day is for me... Too bad it all started on this Friday, three days prior to the beginning of school.
In case you didn't know, life is cruel.

Why today was a big day for me...

Well, it wasn't too exciting for most of the people I know, but for me it marked a couple of things.
-At the top of our heads, Thursday screams the beginning of the end, in this case our Spring Break. It's gone by real quick for me and I've started reorganizing myself for next few weeks ahead.
-I've recovered from a bad cough and fever that literally struck me from nowhere. Pretty much killed two solid days of my break. Nevertheless, it's given me tons of rest and thought about my near future.
-Most of the college decisions are out, except for maybe a couple. For me, today marked a next bold step in my decision-making process. After the sad Berkeley denial, (tear tear, yes), I've successfully narrowed my options between Davis and Santa Barbara (still considering Riverside a lil bit). Of course, I still have all the Ivy League decisions left to wail through (considering every one will be denial).
-I'm planning on Friday (tomorrow) to be full-homework day, hoping to pummel through everything to chill on Saturday and pull it back together for school on Sunday. It's part one of my Obliterate Procrastination At Least By College Operation (OBALBO).
-I'm looking for a strong close on Comp Civics and really SENIOR YEAR!!! I'm really excited and ready to roll.

YEAAH FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AT 10:55 P.M.

Comments on the second Laker-Warrior game

Its a couple days late now, but I've been keeping up the with the media coverage of the whole scandal in the end. If you weren't keeping up, here.
The entire thing is good, but if you want to in a nutshell, what the controversy was, I'd recommend the last two minutes.

I don't get how the "anti-laker" analysts don't understand the simple truths about human reflexes. Derek Fisher was in the act of falling when he threw his arm around Monta Ellis. And since Ellis was pushing real hard, the fact is that he triggered Derek Fisher's fall. And if anybody is falling, what you do is try to hold on to something.

Thus, the anti-Fisher argument is wrong on two cases.
1) Logically, something had to have tripped Fisher for him to fall and from the footage, Ellis pushing hard has to be the only culprit.
2) You can't vilify Fisher because his reflexes acted just like it should for every other human, and this is not a pre-planned scheme that was harbored in the timeout. It just happened.

I know I live in the East Bay but can all the Warrior pansies just shut up for once and swallow the facts.

BBall today: why we can't escape race

Today was an eye-opening experience.
By eye-opening really, it was a blast from my own past.

For the past couple of days, me and ash have been hitting it up at the tennis park, where its been pretty baller. Today, there were a ton of black guys and the myth holds true for some of the readers that haven't really been around black people... THEY GOT HOPS.
The team I'm on, we run the ball up court and one of the guys goes to score but the ball rims out. Then, these white high-schoolers drive by in their suburban, going around 30 mph, pull down their windows and scream "F*** YOU, N*****S!!!!" (middle fingers as well)
Man, did the guys get roiled. They all screamed and were like COME BACK HERE! and one almost ran up to him. Thank god, they pacified. The last thing I wanted is for them to drive to them and beat the hell out of them, cuz Ash and I would be involved in police-shit, being eye-witnesses and all.

Thats when I realized how long I'd been in Pleasanton. I've been here for 5 years now, the longest I've been in any place in the U.S. And I really forgot about all my experiences in Atlanta, Dallas and San Jose, where this was an everyday reality. Obama hit it spot on when he said that race is something that can't be ignored any more and he's proven to be the best candidate running. But otherwise, I realized how I was connected to black people. They introduced me to America. I couldn't some up this relationship any better than a funny quote a black friend of mine told me,
"Man, we love you Indians. Cuz before, us black people used to be the ones that got all the pressure. Now, you guys carry the baton, cuz of you stealin jobs and all. Hahahaha"

Edit: The black guy is a guy I used to know two-three years ago called Wardell. Heartwarming friend.

Me?

Well, I'm a person, specifically a guy, in this big, little world of ours. And I was created for a reason. If any of you think that you are the stupidest, most worthless, wasteful loser in this world, I am your solace. That's pretty simple. I'm kinda smart but really stupid. I'm a lean, mean hoop-shooting machine. I like to random techy shit (and no this doesn't make me weird.) I'm an avid gamer. I've been to a lot of places and learnt a lot of things. I hang out with people from all corners of the thinking scope. I think I'm a nice guy. That's my marble cake. Pity and enjoy.
